INTAKE 11/19/14. May have a prospect adopter.

SQUIRT is a male grey tabby kitten that was abandoned in Franklin County. Born March 2014. Vet report: we are using antibiotic eye drops to get the infection cleared up then we will be able to better assess his eye and determine if it needs to be removed. Even if it isn't removed he will likely be blind in that eye. He has bad conjunctivitis and is only 3 lbs at the age of 7-8 months.

UPDATE 1/7/15-Report on squirt: I took him to work with me today to have his eye rechecked. He has gained over 2 lbs and went from 3 to 5.6. The vet said his eye has healed as much as it is going to and that it looks great, but where the puncture was the iris is stuck to the cornea but that there's no point in doing any surgery because the only issues it may cause him is his vision may be a tad blurry in that eye and he may not see as well in very bright light but other than that he's great.
